Polish stoner doom band Dopelord have announced that Season of Mist will reissue their 2012 debut album Magick Rites on 11 December 2026. The record, originally self-released at the start of the band's career, has been out of print for years and is regarded as a cult classic in the European doom underground.

Bassist and vocalist Piotr Zin recalls the original session in Białystok at a friend's studio, recorded with no expectations beyond having a CD to help book gigs. The reissue arrives as Dopelord are on a European tour supporting Monolord, running through 18 October including Desertfest Belgium in Liège. Their fourth album Songs for Satan (2023) and the recent Sign of the Devil are also available via Season of Mist.

Pre-orders are open at the Season of Mist shop. The band's current lineup comprises Paweł Mioduchowski and Grzegorz Pawłowski on guitars, Piotr Ochociński on drums, and Piotr Zin on bass, vocals and mellotron.
