Arabs in Aspic, the Norwegian progressive rock band from Trondheim, will release their eighth studio album, Sorgens Kapittel, on 21 October 2026 through Karisma Records. The release date marks what would have been the 50th birthday of the band's longtime organist and vocalist Stig Arve Kvam-Jørgensen, who died in 2025, and the album is dedicated to his memory. Zachary Nathanson's review on Echoes And Dust describes the Norwegian-language record as dark and heavy, yet shot through with humour, built around Hammond organ, heavy riffs and intricate vocal harmonies. The first single, Siste Dans, was released on 30 September.
