Astral Construct, the Colorado space-rock project of Drew Patricks, will release The Exoplanetary Diversions on 6 November 2026 through Echodelick Records. Recorded in Colorado Springs in 2024 and 2025, the album was mixed and mastered by Kent Stump at Crystal Clear Sound in Dallas. The label premiere pairs the announcement with an instrumental take on Nirvana's "Heart Shaped Box", and Bandcamp pre-orders are open now. Six tracks run about 40 minutes, moving from heavy fuzz riffs to atmospheric synth passages: Three Moons, Third Launch, Through Ether and Desolation, Crimson, Black Star Bloom and the cover. It is the project's third full-length, following Tales of Cosmic Journeys (2021) and Traveling a Higher Consciousness (2023).
