Boss Keloid release sixth album Float & Aperture on Church Road Records

Boss Keloid

Boss Keloid have released their sixth album, Float & Aperture, on 23 October 2026 through Church Road Records. The Wigan quartet — Alex Hurst (vocals), Paul Swarbrick (guitar), Liam Pendlebury-Green (bass) and Ste Arrand (drums) — wrote the 7 tracks in a more collaborative process than on earlier albums such as Family the Smiling Thrush (2021).

Echoes and Dust reviewer Jody Dunstan calls the record an evolution rather than a revolution: melodic and expansive, with thick riffs and angular guitar, moving from the sludge of Angular Beef Lesson toward a more open progressive sound. The nine-and-a-half-minute Landslide has an official video on the label's channel, Church Road Records.

The album is available digitally and on CD, while the gatefold 2xLP ships around the release date. Bandcamp lists all 7 tracks, from the soft, layered Breeze to the closing Sanguine.
