Desertfest Berlin will return for its 15th edition on May 14-16, 2027, at Columbia Venues in Berlin. The first wave of the lineup features 14 acts spanning the heavier end of the underground spectrum.

The Melvins lead the announcement, joined by Swedish adventure rockers Hallas, noise-rock trio A Place to Bury Strangers, Chicago's instrumental doom outfit Bongripper, and Greece's Villagers of Ioannina City. Further down the bill, Inter Arma, Gnome, Mexico's Vinnum Sabbathi, and newcomers Spooky Eyes from Tasmania — playing one of their first-ever EU shows — round out a diverse first wave. The newly formed heavy garage punk supergroup Primitive Ring also makes the list.

After a 2026 edition that sold out two of three days, the festival expects another packed run. Dozens more acts are still to be announced. Festival passes are now available through the official Desertfest website.
