Heavy Temple Release Live From the Inner Sanctum Digital Live Album

Heavy Temple

Philadelphia psychedelic heavy rock trio Heavy Temple have released Live From the Inner Sanctum, a digital-only live album capturing their raw stage energy, out 9 October via Magnetic Eye Records. The ten-track set was recorded during the band's recent East Coast run and documents the full arc of their performance, from the atmospheric opener "Enter the Heavy Temple" through the crushing "Extreme Indifference to Life" and the haunting "Hiraeth" to the closing ritual "Psychomanteum". Frontwoman High Priestess Nighthawk notes that "Key and Bone" — the first single, accompanied by an official live video — was the first song she wrote for the band a decade ago, originally appearing on the Chassit EP. The album's tape-style artwork reflects its unpolished, immediate character. Heavy Temple blend psychedelic textures with doom-laden riffs and melodic vocals, sitting comfortably alongside peers like Windhand and SubRosa. The band are currently touring the US East Coast through mid-October, including a stop at Grand Rapids Doom Fest on 10 October.
