Japanese post-rock trio mouse on the keys will mark their 20th anniversary with a special concert at Tokyo's Spotify O-EAST on 5 November 2026. The band, who released their new EP "Portrait of Impulse" on 23 September via fractec, have invited longtime peers toe as special guests. toe's Takashi Mino handled recording and mixing for the four-track EP, which comprises "Phenomenon", "Leap", "Portrait of Impulse" and a studio live version of "The Dawn". The two acts share a deep connection: Mino has mixed previous mouse on the keys releases, and both bands have shaped Japan's instrumental post-rock scene since the early 2000s. Tickets are on sale via e+. The show celebrates two decades of jazz-inflected post-rock, electronic textures and cinematic composition from one of Tokyo's most enduring instrumental ensembles.
