Los Angeles-born, London-based artist Veronica Bianqui has premiered the video for 'Money', the second single from her forthcoming album 'Use Once Then Destroy', due 13 November via NX Records. The single follows last month's 'All My Heroes Are Dead'.

For the new record, Bianqui set herself writing exercises before each song. For 'Money' the brief was to combine hyper-pop, hip hop, folk rock and glitchy production — a prompt that sent the track in unexpected directions, including chopping her guitar parts into stuttering fragments. Lyrically the song circles the repetitive 'money, money' refrain, gradually turning it into an irritated dissection of wanting, earning and worshipping wealth.

Bianqui produced the album herself and played much of the material, with Omar Yakar handling the mix. 'Use Once Then Destroy' was written over four years following her move from Los Angeles to London and will be her second full-length after her 2020 self-titled debut. The video for 'Money', shared a day early by It's Psychedelic Baby Magazine, is available on YouTube.
