Sacha Mullin announces Social Touch, premieres Bed All Day

Chicago songwriter and vocalist Sacha Mullin has announced his fourth solo album, Social Touch, due 19 October via Dipterid Records. The psychedelic-leaning art-pop record was produced, recorded and mixed by William Parker Wood at Superior Street in Chicago across 2025, with Mullin and Wood co-arranging the eight songs. Legendary vocalist Emily Bindiger contributes backing vocals on the opening single Hypocenter, released in September on a limited 7" backed with a cover of Alexz Johnson's Voodoo. The second single, Bed All Day, premieres today via Psychedelic Baby Magazine; Mullin describes it as a plea for directness in a relationship that keeps circling the same ground, set to a bubbly pop veneer with a melodic nod to Martha and the Muffins' Swimming. Social Touch follows 2023's Casino Wilderness Period and moves further toward immediate, cinematic art-pop without sacrificing Mullin's remarkable vocal range and rhythmic complexity. Pre-orders for vinyl (Iridescent White-Blue), CD and digital are open at Bandcamp.
