Waverly Drive shares 'crashed out' and announces EP 'sunday afternoon'

Waverly Drive, the Los Angeles solo project of Chicago-born musician Phil Galloni, has released the single 'crashed out' and announced the fourth EP 'sunday afternoon', due on 20 November 2026. 'Crashed out' came out on 16 October 2026. It's Psychedelic Baby Magazine reports that Galloni recorded the EP at home with a minimal setup, deliberately keeping early takes. He sings and plays synthesizers and drum machine, with Egan Rice on guitar and Matthew Noel on bass; Davide Cinci mixed the track and Daniel Eaton mastered it. Rough-edged indie guitars meet synthesizers and electronic drums — Mystic Sons places the sound between psychedelic pop and scrappy indie rock. A video for 'crashed out' is scheduled for 30 October. The single streams on Bandcamp, where the EP can be pre-ordered.
