Psychedelic Baby Magazine introduces MANYHEARTS, a new musical collective spearheaded by Hywel John (bass, vocals) alongside a rotating cast of collaborators spanning Wales, London, New York, Berlin, Senegal, New Orleans and Nashville. The debut single "Sugar" arrives with a direct rock drive and prominent slide guitar from Tycho Shea, while Tobias Humble (The Brian Jonestown Massacre, Tricky, Gang of Four) anchors the drums. Co-written with guitarist Irakli Gabriel and engineered by Jonny Zoum at Berlin's Funkhaus, the track tackles the allure of self-destructive desire with wry lyrical imagery — heartburn, a belly ache, a piglet and an udder. "Sugar" is the first taste of a projected multi-album arc including 'manyhearts plays The Trick', 'manyhearts journey To The Goddess' and 'manyhearts and The Lone Man'. The accompanying video, directed by the collective, premieres on their YouTube channel.
