Japanese psychedelic collective Acid Mothers Temple & The Melting Paraiso U.F.O. played this full concert set at the Levitation festival in Austin, Texas; the festival's official YouTube channel published the recording on 27 August 2021. Led by guitarist Kawabata Makoto, the band stretches motorik repetition, free improvisation and cosmic electronics into long, unhurried movements, a touchstone of Japanese acid rock. Echo Mandala is resurfacing the footage because it documents the group's live intensity outside any release cycle. Archive material, not news.
