Japanese psychedelic institution Acid Mothers Temple & The Melting Paraiso U.F.O. released a promotional video in August 2026 for their month-long US tour “Survive to Metaverse Tour 2026”, running 1–31 October across 31 venues from San Diego to Long Beach. The clip, posted on the band’s official YouTube channel, presents the touring lineup — Kawabata Makoto (guitar, electronics), Higashi Hiroshi (synthesizer), Jyonson Tsu (voice, guitar, bouzouki), Satoshima Nani (drums), Sawano Shozo (bass) and Cotton Casino (voice, synthesizer) for the first week — and captures the collective’s sprawling, improvisatory energy. Acid Mothers Temple have operated since 1995 as a rotating “soul collective” around guitarist Kawabata Makoto; this US trek marks their first extensive North American run since the 30th-anniversary tours of 2025. The video is an official channel upload, not a fan recording, and serves as a concise portal into the group’s current live incarnation.
