Psychedelic desert rock trio Aunt Cynthia's Cabin have released "Archangel", the second single from their self-titled second album, due December 18, 2026 via Black Throne Productions. The track addresses vocalist and guitarist Brennan Justice's experience with night terrors and his turn to prayer for protection. Musically, the band strips back to a single lead guitar, giving the performance a more exposed, vulnerable quality. Recorded in a converted barn in Camp Verde, Arizona, and mastered by JJ Golden, the album continues the trio's blend of heavy psych, surf rock and desert atmosphere. Vinyl will be issued in Black Canyon, Salt Mine and Desert Sky editions, alongside CD and digital. A fourth repress of their 2020 debut Misty Woman is also planned.
