Austin musician Gus Baldwin has shared 'Runnin' After Me', the second track from his forthcoming five-song EP 'Lingered Out', out 11 December through Permanent Teeth. The song is a short, direct piece built around Baldwin's repeated promise to meet someone halfway.

Unlike his 2025 full-length 'The Sketch' with The Sketch, which was recorded in a single day as a live document, 'Lingered Out' was written, performed and recorded by Baldwin alone on analog tape at Hollywood Studios between January and June 2026. The EP mixes psychedelic garage textures with concise songwriting across five tracks: 'Rattlesnake Highway', 'Runnin' After Me', 'Heavy Metal', 'Dallas' and 'Lingered Out'. Baldwin mixed the record with Steven Arif Mashaka; Joey Oaxaca mastered it in Los Angeles. John Kuzmick contributes bass, keyboards and harmonies on opener 'Rattlesnake Highway'.

The EP will be available digitally and as a 12-inch mini-LP. The single is streaming on YouTube and Bandcamp.
