Italian heavy rock trio Herba Mate will release their second album Bolide I & II on 20 November 2026 through Go Down Records. It is the Faenza-based group's first full-length since 2009's The Jellyfish is Dead and the Hurricane is Coming, ending a long quiet period interrupted only by a 2024 single. The 42-minute, nine-track record opens a two-album concept cycle: Bolide I & II covers earth and air, with Bolide III & IV to follow. The Obelisk premiered the video for "David vs. Goliath," which features vocals by Claudio Colaianni, who died in July 2025; the official video for "Poppy" is also from the album. Guest musicians contribute saxophone, synthesizer, organ and piano. The sound moves between desert rock, stoner weight and psychedelic texture.
