Japanese trio maya ongaku released the official video for "Maybe Psychic" on 11 January 2026 via their YouTube channel. The single came out on 8 October 2025 through Guruguru Brain and Bayon Production. The 16 mm film clip, directed by Itsuki Yoshizawa and Nicholas Buckwalter, shows all three members — Tsutomu Sonoda, Ryota Takano, Shoei Ikeda — performing tai chi and spoon-bending gestures on the Enoshima coast, matching the track's unhurried, dub-tinged psychedelic folk. The band, whose name means "illusion music", builds spontaneous compositions around Sonoda's guitar and synth, Takano's fluid bass, and Ikeda's woodwinds and keys. This video captures their meditative, "natural occurrence" approach better than any studio take. A strong entry point for the Guruguru Brain catalogue beyond Kikagaku Moyo.
