Taipei duo Mong Tong will receive a Japanese domestic release for their 2025 album Sun Moon Darkness 明日音 through P-VINE. The label announced a CD edition scheduled for 2 December 2026 (PCD-26168) and a vinyl pressing for 20 January 2027 (PLP-8472). The original digital release appeared in November 2025 on Ancient Move Records.

The eight-track album blends Taiwanese folk motifs, West Asian atmospheric textures and vintage psychedelic electronics into what the band describes as "Future Folk". Guitarist Hom Yu and guitarist/producer Junci Chi, also members of the group 落差草原WWWW, built the record around hypnotic rhythms and dreamlike melodies that first caught attention when they opened for Kikagaku Moyo's final tour. P-VINE's announcement notes the connection to Guruguru Brain, the label run by Go Kurosawa and Tomo Katsurada of Kikagaku Moyo, where Mong Tong released their 2020 debut Mystery 秘神.

The official video for the title track, produced by the Open Culture Foundation, presents a visual counterpart to the album's hybrid sound world. Pre-orders are available through P-VINE's linkfire page.
