Greek psychedelic rock trio Naxatras released their second album II on 29 April 2016. The official video for "The Great Attractor", published on the band's channel in May 2016, visualises the hypnotic convergence of heavy psych, space rock and progressive grooves that defines their sound. A cascading guitar melody rides a motorik pulse before the track opens into a expansive, fuzz-drenched finale. The video, directed by Elena Kontela, captures the band's analog warmth and cinematic scope. We highlight this video today as a vivid example of the contemporary European psych scene's depth — cosmic, riff-oriented and melodically rich — for readers who may have missed the album on release.
