Psalm announce self-titled debut album for December

Las Vegas stoner-doom trio Psalm have announced their self-titled debut album, due 15 December through Space Goat Records. The record follows their upcoming split with Erosions, due 31 October on the same label, and introduces a partially revamped lineup: guitarist Juan Arturo and bassist Jeremy Aceves join vocalist/guitarist Jon Torres and drummer Ian Henneforth. Across twelve tracks the group trades in lumbering grooves and gothic atmospheres. Torres's vocal tone and the band's shifts between dirge and pummeling assault place them on the heavier fringe of the modern psych underground. After touring with Sonolith and Hibernaut across the US, Psalm channel that momentum into a full-length that promises emotive, devastating doom.
