Dutch heavy psych and stoner rock trio The Machine have announced their eighth studio album, Another Sun, due 2 October 2026 via Blues Funeral Recordings (UK/North America) and Awe Records with Stickman Records (Europe). The album was recorded in late 2025 at Evolver Studio, guitarist David Eering's new facility in Dordrecht, and marks the first full-length with the current lineup of Eering, bassist Chris Both and drummer Klaas Dijkstra. A first single, "Drop/See", arrived with an official video in late July; the eight-minute opener leans into the band's spaced-out groove while retaining their riff-heavy core. Pre-orders for vinyl, CD and digital editions are open. The Machine have spent nearly two decades as a genre-bending fixture of the European underground, from the cult landmark Solar Corona (2009) through Wave Cannon (2023); Another Sun continues that evolution without reinvention.
