The Orb to headline Japanese festival flows on 27 December

The Orb will headline the Japanese festival flows on 27 December at Ebisu The Garden Hall in Tokyo. The announcement names the British collective alongside Nujabes Metaphorical Ensemble; additional acts are to be revealed in the coming weeks. For The Orb this is their first Japanese appearance in roughly seven years. Founded by Alex Paterson and Jimmy Cauty in 1988, the group helped shape ambient house and has maintained a psychedelic, panoramic approach to electronic music across more than thirty years and eighteen albums, including last year's Buddhist Hipsters. flows returns as a one-day event; early-bird tickets go on sale through ZAIKO from 26 October.
