Spanish heavy progressive rock solo project Whisper will release Whisper / Liminal Spaces on 20 November via Dying Victims Productions. The 40-minute compilation joins the 2023 self-titled EP and the newer Liminal Spaces EP, both remixed and remastered. Multi-instrumentalist José Vicente Aldeguer (Iron Curtain, Phantom Spell, War Dogs) records everything himself, layering vintage synths, organ, flute and guitar over a foundation of classic prog and traditional metal — think Blue Öyster Cult, Demon, early Opeth and Hällas. The seven-minute track "Witchfinder's Dreams" and the 13-minute closer "The Whisper" frame the set's theatrical, melodic ambition. The first single, "Pathways" (feat. Laura Vesprini of Jess and the Ancient Ones), premiered with an official video on the label's YouTube channel. Pre-orders for vinyl (regular and splatter editions), CD and digital are open.
