Ozric Tentacles release 17th album Harmonic Mind on Kscope

British space-rock veterans Ozric Tentacles released their 17th studio album Harmonic Mind on 18 September via Kscope Music. The record arrives 40 years after the band's first festival cassettes and marks the first to feature the full current touring lineup: Ed Wynne (guitar, synth), Pat Garvey (drums), Corey Wallace (bass), Paul Hankin (percussion), Saskia Maxwell (multi-instrumentalist) and Silas Neptune (synth, mastering).
Echoes and Dust reviewer Zachary Nathanson notes the album's Tangerine Dream-like synth opener 'Guardstones', the dub-inflected pulse of 'Space Platform', and the Terry Riley homage in the title track and 'Malachite'. The closing 'Sumipad' serves as a final cosmic transmission. The review calls Harmonic Mind the band's most cohesive work in recent memory, with each member's voice audible in the ensemble interplay.
The lead visualiser for 'Space Platform' premiered on the Kscope YouTube channel. Pre-orders for vinyl, CD and digital editions remain open through Kscope and the band's Bandcamp page.
