Black Space Riders Announce Eighth Album Die 8 for November 13

Black Space Riders

German heavy progressive space rockers Black Space Riders have announced their eighth studio album Die 8, set for release on 13 November 2026 via Black Space Records / Cargo. The announcement arrives four years after their previous album We Have Been Here Before and follows the departure of founding guitarist SLI, with longtime engineer π stepping in on guitar and handling recording, mixing and mastering at his own studio.

The eleven-track LP is framed as a sonic cartography of creeping digital and societal decay. The first single, Party Is Over (The Last Curfew), premiered with an official video in late August; a second single, Algorythms (Mind Control), followed in early October with its own video exploring themes of algorithmic surveillance. Both tracks showcase the band's blend of heavy psychedelic riffs, motorik rhythms, dark post-punk atmosphere and melodic hooks. Pre-orders for vinyl, CD and digital editions are open via the band's official shop and Bandcamp.
